BOCI BLT310 smart laser cutting heads are quite cost-effective smart cutting heads designed for medium and low power laser cutting. Being impact and lightweight, it still integrates multiple sets of intelligent sensors, which ensure real-time closed-loop monitoring to give rapid diagnosis and instant warning.
BOCI laser heads gained recognition for their expertise in high-power laser cutting, especially with models exceeding 10 kW. Today, BOCI is the 1st choice of laser cutting head for steel plate cutting.
The BOCI laser head features real-time temperature monitoring of the protective lens during the cutting process. If the lens becomes contaminated, the laser control system immediately triggers an alarm and halts the laser emission. This proactive approach effectively reduces cutting defects caused by lens contamination and prevents further damage to the laser head and the laser source.
The water-cooling design of BOCI laser heads ensures long-term, stable cutting performance. BOCI has implemented an anti-corrosion coating process for the water channels, which prevents corrosion caused by prolonged use. This innovative approach avoids issues like waterway blockages that could lead to laser head damage or the burning of other optical components.
BOCI laser heads use collimation focusing, allowing the adjustment of the focal point by fine-tuning the collimating lens. This enables faster focusing, significantly reducing the wait time for focus adjustments. As a result, users can achieve a smoother, more continuous cutting experience when cutting steel plates at high speed, greatly enhancing the efficiency of laser cutting operations.

The BOCI laser head is equipped with a real-time gas pressure monitoring sensor to track the flow of gas during the cutting process. When cutting carbon steel with low-pressure oxygen, maintaining a stable gas pressure is crucial. Any fluctuations in pressure can result in failed piercings and increased burr formation on the cut edges.
With real-time monitoring, the system ensures a stable gas flow, reducing the negative impact of pressure instability on the cutting surface. This leads to cleaner cuts and improved overall cutting quality, enhancing efficiency and reducing defects.
In the actual operation of laser machines, collisions involving the laser head are not uncommon and can lead to costly repairs or the need for a complete laser head replacement, often requiring shipment back to the manufacturer, causing significant downtime. BOCI has developed a laser head with an innovative anti-collision design. In the event of a collision, specially designed screws will break off first, protecting the laser head's other delicate components and optical lenses from damage.
