Product Description

Core Function:
The laser cutting head capacitance sensor mainly monitors and adjusts the spacing and verticality between the cutting head and the workpiece in real time during the cutting process to ensure cutting accuracy and process safety. Its core role and technical characteristics are as follows:
1, Dynamic spacing control
Real-time detection of changes in the distance between the cutting head and the workpiece surface (such as unevenness on the surface of the workpiece, welds, etc.), and automatically adjust the height to maintain a constant spacing (usually 0.5-2 mm) to ensure that the laser focus position is stable and avoid degradation of cutting quality or nozzle collision due to distance fluctuations. (This feature is essential for machining non-planar workpieces)

2, Verticality monitoring
The angular deviation between the nozzle and the workpiece surface is sensed through the change of capacitive signal, and the cutting head posture is corrected in real time with the control system to avoid the incision deflection or energy loss caused by inclined cutting.

3, Focus Position Optimisation
Combined with the capacitance detection data linkage focus adjustment module, the laser beam focus is always located at 1/3 of the thickness of the plate (the optimal power density position), improving the cutting efficiency and cross-section quality of the thick plate.
